Meet the MBC business teams at Business Vision Live

Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) is inviting Business Vision Live attendees to find out all they need to know about doing business in Maidstone by visiting their stand at the event on 11 May.

Representatives from Maidstone’s Innovation Centre (MIC), Business Terrace and procurement team will be on hand at the event at the Kent Event Centre with information on the facilities and support available in ‘the business capital of Kent.’

Businesses in the MedTech, life science and health sectors can find out more about flexible office space at the Maidstone Innovation Centre, the borough’s newest state-of-the-art building, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020. Located at the prestigious Kent Medical Campus, it also offers unrivalled business support such as the South East Innovation Programme (SE-IP) designed to help early stage businesses.

The Business Terrace team are keen to talk to start-ups and developing businesses looking for their first, or new premises. Offering hot desks, office space with room to grow, and conference rooms, the flexible facilities have everything fledgling businesses need to start, grow and thrive.

Visitors to the event can also meet MBC’s business adviser, Chris Lyle, who provides free advice and support to all Maidstone businesses, as well as the procurement team who can help with queries around working with MBC.

Chris comments: “Maidstone really is a wonderfully diverse place to do business. I’ve worked with a huge variety of sectors from nightclubs to equine vets.  What really sets it apart is not only the help available from MBC but the genuinely supportive community here. Whatever you need, I’ll be able to signpost you to someone in the local network who can help you.

“I’m looking forward to meeting everyone from budding entrepreneurs to established businesses at Business Vision Live to see how we can help them grow and thrive. So whether you want to talk through an idea, connect with a local supplier, are considering a move to new premises, or want to find out about available funding, drop in and see us!”

Now in its 15th year, Business Vision Live is the largest gathering of business professionals in the South East. To find out more about the event and register to attend visit https://businessvisionlive.com/
