Quality Qualifications with QPQuandary

Joining our ranks earlier this summer was QPQuandary, a business with a unique offer: training and mentoring pharmaceutical students on their way towards their exams and becoming a Qualified Person (QP).

A Qualified Person is a critical role in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, with the QP providing the final approval that medicines can be sold to the public. It is the responsibility of the QP to ensure that Good Manufacturing Practice and regulatory standards have been followed and that each batch of medicinal product meets quality specifications and standards, displays accurate information and meets marketing requirements. Without certified QPs, we can’t be sure that medicines are accurate or safe for use.

Leading QPQuandary are sisters Alex Hall and Emma Davison-Hall, who, along with Tanya and Rachael Agombar, provide a comprehensive programme for cohorts to prepare for the qualification, as well as the support, care and interactivity to bring the learning to life.

It is a wrap-around package for learners that supports them academically and personally, adding that extra touch that really makes a difference.

Operating since 2013, QPQuandary started offering in-person training at the MIC in February 2024, and after using the facility and the state-of-the-art hospitality, they were so impressed with the offer and price that the business decided to invest in an office space, moving out of London to create a base in the south-east.

QPQuandary is now firmly established at the Innovation Centre and is helping a cohort of over 30 local and international delegates to bridge the gap between theory and industry practice in a stunning learning environment.

Speaking about the Innovation Centre, Alex said:

The Innovation Centre has been easy to deal with – very professional and very welcoming. It’s important to QPQuandary because we have a lot of different people, coming from different parts of the country, and the MIC is core to creating a welcoming and inclusive network.

With 25 courses available throughout the year, taught in-person and online by QPQuandary and professional providers, learners attending training can expect to spend three days at the MIC, twice a month.
